"Uool" is a next-generation tile that combines outstanding environmental performance with reliable quality. It reuses up to 98% of waste materials such as home appliances, and significantly reduces energy consumption in the manufacturing process. It helps create beautiful and functional spaces while minimizing the burden on the global environment.

With the glazed type, there is a risk that the joint material will remain in the cracks. Custom colors are also available.

Uool's features: Environmental performance

Tiles made from recycled electronics materials

We have developed tiles with a recycling rate of up to 98% by combining glass wool insulation scraps from the home appliance manufacturing process with waste from clay mines. The glaze also uses recycled glass wool.

CO2 reduction through electric furnaces

Compared to the CO² emissions generated when firing tiles at 1250°C in a gas kiln, Uool's unique characteristics make it possible to produce porcelain tiles by firing them in an electric furnace, reducing CO² emissions by 55% and mitigating the environmental impact.

Energy savings through low-temperature firing

By firing at a lower temperature of 950°C, lower than the usual 1250°C, and cutting the firing time in half (from 12 hours to 6 hours), we were able to reduce energy consumption by 60%. These are environmentally friendly, high-performance tiles.

Low water absorption and water resistant

Its low-porosity structure means that it absorbs less than 1.5% of water. Because it absorbs almost no water, it is stain-resistant and suitable for use around water. The unglazed type is not damaged by freezing, so it can be used safely outdoors or in cold climates.
