Generally, only inorganic materials can be used as raw materials for tiles. Organic materials (such as paper or textiles), substances containing harmful chemicals, and materials that may negatively affect the manufacturing equipment cannot be used. Even inorganic materials must undergo a simple test to confirm their suitability.
Our recycled tiles do not contain harmful substances. If harmful substances are detected at any stage of the manufacturing process, the raw materials are discarded, and alternative materials are considered.
The production of recycled tiles requires more steps than standard manufacturing, such as the removal of contaminants, adjustment of particle size, and blending when converting waste into raw materials. As a result, recycled tiles may be more expensive than standard tiles.
Our company does not purchase waste materials. For the raw materials required for development tests or production, we kindly ask that you provide them.
Reusing tiles after demolition is possible, but if they are significantly soiled or contaminated, the cost of cleaning and processing may increase, which could raise the overall product price.
The proportion of materials is determined based on test results. Since tiles are made by blending various raw materials, it can be difficult to use a large amount of a single recycled material. We will recommend the optimal blend based on the specific conditions.
We do not manage inventory for products other than catalog items. Custom orders will be handled individually.
Samples of Toya and Akatsuki are available free of charge. For Moltenova and Capa, actual samples will incur a fee, except for 'color samples' for color verification, which are provided free of charge.
